For ten days in April 2024 I travelled to Morocco to record a new album by New Yorkers Toby Goodshank and Leslie Graves. We set up in an apartment in the Medina of Essaouira, which worked surprisingly well considering there are no cars within the Medina walls, just carts and a whole lot of cats.

I love the challenge of an unconventional recording space. It is always exciting to roll into a new space with it's unique resonances and acoustic peculiarities.
